A Message From Our President
Hello and Welcome to the Zetas of Greensboro website!
I am honored that you are visiting the website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Beta Nu Zeta Chapter… Where we are living our founding principles by Elevating Excellence and continuing the Legacy through SERVICE, LEADERSHIP and IMPACT!!!
On January 16, 1920, our Founders, Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Pearl Anna Neal, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings and Fannie Pettie Watts, collectively known as the “Five Pearls,” established a sisterhood on the campus of Howard University that was based on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.
The Beta Nu Zeta Chapter was chartered on November 24, 1945 by 8 trailblazers who saw the need for Zeta in the City of Greensboro. For over 75 years, The Beta Nu Zeta Chapter has continued to serve the Greensboro community. The Beta Nu Zeta Chapter continues to elevate excellence through service and making an impact on the Greater Greensboro Community. Our local service work includes Adopt A School, Elder Care, March for Babies/March of Dimes, Storks Nest, and other service areas that include mentoring the youth and other vulnerable populations.
Please continue to explore our website and learn more about our Service, Leadership and Impact!
Sincerely,
LaToya Lucas
Chapter President
